How do you select your caregivers?
All Professional Homecare Caregivers are thoroughly interviewed and screened. References are checked and verified. A thorough background screening is conducted on each applicant. The skills of each caregiver are assessed to determine what level of care they can competently provide. Our commitment to you is that each caregiver we send you is someone we would have take care of our loved ones.
How do you choose the caregivers who will come to my home?
A Care Specialist will interview you at length to determine the skills and personality needed to best suit your particular situation.
What if I don't care for one of the home care staff?
Notify us that you would like to make a change and why. We will work quickly to make a change and ensure you have the person you want in your home.
Do you provide any kind of ongoing care monitoring?
Yes, your Care Specialist will make visits on regular intervals to insure the quality of the care provided is the best and to address any concerns you may have.
How much does the service cost?
We bill on an hourly basis most of the time. The hours required to properly care for your loved one will be determined on the initial assessment interview and reviewed on an ongoing basis. Please contact us to learn more about our pricing.
Who pays the caregiver and how do they get paid?
All of our caregivers are employees of Professional Homecare. We simply invoice you for the services rendered and we take care of paying the caregivers, along with the taxes, insurance, benefits, and other administrative requirements.

Do I have to sign a contract for a certain length of time?
No. With 24 hours notice, you can cancel service any time.
Do I pay the caregiver directly?
Our caregivers are our employees, and we are responsible for their pay.
What form of payment do you accept?
We accept checks, Visa, and Mastercard.
How about live-in care?
Yes, we provide this service. Please call us about our 24-hour rates.
How does the cost of home care compare with assisted living or nursing home care?
The average home care service runs about 1/3 the cost of an assisted living facility and less then 1/4 of what the skilled facility would cost.
